Great Slim Case Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Leather Case Review

Looking for a slim leather case? The official Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 leather case is a great slim case... but you will not get much protection for your Galaxy Z Fold 2 and is very expensive unless you can get it at a discount! The leather case is well made, all of the areas where the leather wraps around the case seem to be well crafted and glued. The cutouts for your mic, charging port are centered and the notch for the volume up and down is nicely centered. There is enough room in the notch for your power button to use your fingerprint as well. There is one issue with the cut at the bottom for the charging port. If your USB-C cable has a thicker end at of the cable, then it won't be able to go in because the cut out isn't big enough to allow the cable to go in. So, you will have to make sure you use a thinner end of charging cable or use the wireless feature of the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The leather on the case is very soft, gives the phone a nice stylish look to it but it won't give you much protection for the front. The corners of the back are protected with the case, the inside has a soft velvet feel to it and won't damage your Galaxy Z Fold 2 while it is in the leather case. The case snaps in easy and holds on very tight and at least I can't see it coming off on its own, maybe if it fell and hit the ground it might come off. The leather case also gives you some grip when handling your Galaxy Z Fold 2, currently, without the case, it is very slippery, and don't want the phone to slip out of your hands!

This case only protects the back, but in reality, with the way the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is designed. You really can't protect the front much because it is a full edge to edge screen. You can buy a case that has the edge bumper for the front and add it to the leather case so you can get some type of protection but there aren't many cases that would truly protect the Galaxy Z Fold 2 unless it is an armor type of case which would make the phone too bulky!

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Leather case is available in Black, Brown, and Green. Link to Samsung website for the cases https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/mob...

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Unboxing: The Metallic Red and Blue Color Hinge

Samsung has released one of the best foldable phones currently on the market. Here is an unboxing of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 with the Metallic Red hinge and the Metallic Blue Hinge. The new improved hinge on the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is improved over the first generation Galaxy Fold. The build quality of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is top-notch! You can feel the quality of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in your hands, making calls on it also feels just right in your hands as well. The new bigger 7.6-inch display actually makes a big difference in comparison to the Galaxy Fold first generation. When folded it does have some heft to it, but it's not as bad as you would think. It's a good kind of heaviness, it makes the phone feel solid! The new hideaway hinge is a much more improvement over the first generation Fold and overall it's a better hinge. You are now able to angle the screen from different angles, this makes better when you are running two apps and want to set the Galaxy Z Fold 2 on a desk or just a surface.
Also for those that might be thinking that the Metallic Red-colored hinge is Red, it actually looks more like a Orange color. Outdoors it does look a bit of a Red-Orange color, though it has more of a Orange color to it. Hopefully, this would be a bit clearer, if you were expecting the hinge to be on the Red side, it won't. The Metallic Blue on the hinge actually looks much better than the online picture that is advertised. When in tablet mode you won't be able to see the hinge at all. Samsung engineers did a great in creating the new hideaway hinge on the Galaxy Z Fold 2! The Mystic Bronze matte finish on the back of the phone is also a great touch to the phone! Overall the phone is a great device if you were thinking of purchasing the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and was on the fence about it! At least for my use and for my daily workload the Galaxy Z Fold 2 exceeds what I need to use the phone for!

The Best Wireless Car Charger 2020

One of the best fast Qi wireless chargers in 2020 is the Kenu Airframe vent mount! It is compatible with Samsung phones, iPhones, and other Android phones that are Qi-enabled wireless charging! The Kenu Airframe charges my Samsung Galaxy Fold quickly, just as if I had it connected with a USB-C cord. One of the great features is that the Kenu Airframe is very compact in size, doesn't take much room from your vent, and is low profile. I really like this feature as it doesn't get in the way of the vent. I was able to pick up the Kenu Airframe at a discount price on Amazon and is one of the very few that allow narrow phones like my Galaxy Fold when closed to hold it without falling out or sliding down the vent holder. I tested a few and those would not hold the narrow Galaxy Fold completely, so while driving the slid out. Here is a list of what Kenu list as compatible with the Airframe on their website.

Huawei Mate X 5G At CES 2020: Hands On With A Great Foldable Phone!

I was able to get hands on the Huawei Mate X 5G at CES 2020 and was very impressed on the build quality of the phone! This is one solid foldable phone that actually is better fit then the current Samsung Galaxy Fold. Huawei finally released the Mate X 5G in China, though you can’t purchase it the US but hoping to see this phone come to the US very soon. In the very short time I was able to check out the Mate X 5G at CES 2020 it was very responsive, fluid and very nice to hold and use in your hand. In the video you will see a quick overview of the Huawei Mate X 5G but the videos you see of the phone really doesn’t show how well it is design and built.

Samsung Galaxy Fold MONTBLANC Case Review...

When Samsung released the Galaxy Fold it also released the 5G version that included the Montblanc case. Many were not able to get the case but I was able to get a hold of a couple of these cases to test and use as my daily case for my Samsung Galaxy Fold. Over all you will see in the video that the case very well design and made to last! It will add a bit of thickness compared to the non 5G Galaxy Fold that was released for the US, but in my opinion its not that bad... it actually helps out especially when you put your phone on a table on its back side. With the Montblanc case being a bit thicker, it protects the camera lens! Over I really like this case, I do switch back to the carbon case that comes in the non 5G model. This would be more of a preference on the user on which case they like, whether a barely there case or a bit of thicker but still light weight case...

Lenovo Miix 360 Quick Look: Running External Monitor Excellent!

Back at this year's CES 2018 at Las Vegas, I got a chance to get hands on the HP Envy x2 and the Lenovo Miix 630. Though my hands-on time was very limited and really couldn't say if the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 would be capable of handling the full version of Windows 10. Out of the box, the Lenovo Miix 360 comes with Windows 10s, which you can be upgraded to Windows 10 Pro within the first 180 days. I tested the Miix 360 with Windows 10s for a few weeks and I can't complain how well it works with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. I also tested the Lenovo Miix 360 with Windows 10 Pro and I have to say, overall, the device was pretty snappy! I even connected the Lenovo Miix 360 to a Samsung 4k monitor and opened up few web pages and had a video playing and everything was pretty snappy and smooth. Just keep in mind, don't think of purchasing this device as a video or picture editing machine. You can do basic picture adjustments with no problem but don't plan on editing a full camera roll with complicated editing.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5: Why Split Screen Makes Sense...

Galaxy Tab S 10.5
Samsung is not new to split screen, its a matter of fact, split screen was also introduced on the Galaxy S3 and Note 3 phones as early 2012. Many reviews considered this to be a gimmick, but now most that have tried the split screen on Windows devices can see how useful this can be. I certainly use the split screen on all my Samsung tablets which is why they are my first tablet to consider for work and play.
enter image description here
You can also find split screen on the Chromebook. For those time that you need to work on research and a document, email or just about anything you need to refer back to!
Why having split screen makes sense!
The question for many will be, why do I need split screen? Split screen comes in handy for many of us, including myself. Here is some great uses for split screen. When you have, Facebook, Twitter and any other webpage that you need to keep view-able while you work on either email, proof reading documents or working on Excel worksheet. Another great use is when writing up some report and you need to have information about the report and you need to check your information as you write the report, you can easily have the webpage opened side by side in split screen! Have you ever received an email that has some type of information? With the ability of having split screen or side by side windows, you don’t need to jump around the open window to compare or see the information you need. It will be right there in front of you!
It never fails, when family and friends ask me what I can recommend them to purchase. I simply split my screen, get the link as I am composing the email and attaching all the information they need to make a final decision with all the links right in the email! Couldn’t be any easier with side by side…
Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Split Screen
I am so use to the split screen that I have been using with all the Windows tablets and Samsung tablets that when I pick up my Nexus 9, or the Shield tablet, and I am searching for information to compare, I miss this great feature. You can also hold your tablet in portrait mode which also gives you good view of both webpages or your split screen.
Apple also announced Split screen to iOS which should also bring a better experience for those that need to multi task by having a split screen. We will have to see if iOS users will take advantage of the split screen once it becomes available.
Some might feel having a split screen or side by side capability will cause distraction, while others will welcome this feature especially iOS users!

IDW Supermount F and Qstand Tripod for Smartphone and Tablet Review…

Most of us don't really think about using a mount to hold our phones or even think about using one for our tablets? If you are, there is several mounts that are available but not all really built the same or work as good.

Since I am always looking for ways to hold my phone or camera that I use for shooting video or taking quick snapshots by using the voice command, I would always look for a place to stand the camera. I ran across the IDW Supermount F and Qsnap which you can pick up at Amazon. Made out of great quality aluminum, making the Supermount F and Qstand light weight to carry around.

ZAGGkeys Cover Bluetooth Keyboard: Working with Kindle Fire HDX 8.9

With so little options for a good keyboard to use, especially for the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, unless you're thinking of those you might find on Amazon. ZAGG has some very outstanding keyboards! As I use the ZAGGkeys Cover keyboard with the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 to get work done...

As I was looking for a good keyboard to use with my Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, I went through Amazon and really didn't like the keyboard cases that were available. I was looking for something that had great battery life, a good keyboard, though looking for something that is portable is sometimes limited. Then I remembered reading James Kendrick's post of the ZAGG keyboards that he had tested and is using for his iPad. That triggered me to look into the specs of the ZAGGkeys Cover keyboard, so took a trip down to my local Best Buy to check it out.

What made me interested in the ZAGGkeys Cover keyboard was that it has the ability to tilt the tablet as if it was a laptop. Yes, I am not trying to replace my laptop, but wanted to be able to have the ability to tilt the screen as different situations always arise. So as I was able to slide the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 in the slot, though keep in mind that the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 fits loose in the slot because around the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is thinner on the outer edge than the iPad Air by quite a bit, but sits in without falling out as you use. Let's take a quick look at the ZAGGkeys Cover with the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 and see if it's something that you would buy.
