MacBook Pro M1 Great Video For Video Editing and Picture Editing

I do recommend that if you can get the 16GB model, do get it because it will give you better performance than the 8GB model that I have been using. Since I was only planning on using the Macbook Pro M1 as a portable on the road and using it as a basic video and photo editor the 8GB model has worked out perfectly for me!

Apple released the MacBook Pro M1 at the end of 2020, and it is very powerful compared to some Intel processor laptops, but the MacBook Pro M1 still has its limitations if you plan to use many of the Adobe Suite programs. Adobe is releasing M1 native applications which should work much faster and better performance. Currently, if I edit a video that has a lot of transition or with many effects, it does start to show and slow down on the MacBook Pro M1. Also, it does take more time to output the finished video compared to my current Dell 15 XPS with an Intel i7 6-core processor. Again, this is still my mobile editing device and also the battery life is excellent on the MacBook Pro M1, especially when you can edit videos or photos without having it slow down because the M1 is not plugged into a power source. This alone is one of the great benefits of the MacBook Pro with the M1 processor!

Best All Around Tablet: Apple iPad 8th Generation

Apple released the iPad 8th generation late last year and it is one of the best all-around tablets you can get at a great value! It is available in Silver, Space Gray, and Gold. You can either get the 32GB, or the 128GB version. I recommend the 128GB since you will fill up the 32GB model fairly quickly with some apps now bigger than they use to be. Also if you want to store any photos or do some light video editing, this will give you some extra room for storage with the 128GB version. The iPad 8th generation is also very lightweight to carry around at 495 grams for the LTE version and 490 grams for the WiFi version. The display is 10.2-inch, in my opinion, this is still workable screen real estate, especially to watch videos without being too cramped! I would be nice if when Apple releases the iPad 9th generation it would be without the big bezels it currently has. It is very quick to use around apps, browsing, etc.. with the A12 Bionic chip with 64-bit architecture Neural Engine. Doesn't have the best camera out there, but if you have plenty of light and outdoor use, even though I don't use a tablet for video or for taking pictures it can come in handy if you are going to be using it a quick video production outdoors and edit with LumaFusion, a great video software! Just keep in mind you won't be doing any 4k video recording as the iPad 8th generation only has the capability of recording 1080 HD which is still good for uploading to Youtube or your social media. Overall it's a great all-around tablet that you can use and is very portable. 

Great Case For The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G

Spigen Core Armor case for the Galaxy S21 5G is a nice lightweight case that won't add weight to your Galaxy S21 5G or add much bulk to it as well! Though it won't protect your phone like an armor case but it will do the job to protect it and looks very nice as well. If you like showing off the color of your phone, then this case won't be for you as it covers the back completely.

The Spigen Core Armor case has some good grip to it and it allows you to safely hold onto your Galaxy S21 5G without the slippery feeling when holding onto your phone without a case. The rubber case does look like it provides some kind of drop protection, but if you drop it on a very hard surface above 3-feet, it might do some damage to the Galaxy S21 5G.

Great Trash Can in 2021, Simplehuman has a great small 10L Semi-Round Step Can that comes in White or Brushed finishes. These are very sturdy trash cans that you can use anywhere around the house. The 10L is semi-round which makes it easy to put in any corner of the house or in any area without taking up too much room. In the video, you can see how compact the trash can is, yet it's big enough to hold quite a bit of trash and easy to dump out the trash and change out the bags! 

The price at first seems high but with the build quality you won't be purchasing a trash can every few years and with the Simplehuman Semi-Round Step Can, if anything breaks or stops working as long as it's still under the warranty they will take care of the issue! and that's something most others don't do!

Great Case For The iPad 10.2

If you are looking for a great case for your iPad 8th Generation 2020, the Speck - Balance Folio Case for Apple iPad 7th & 8th generation in the Stormy Gray color is something you might want to consider getting! The case is pretty much a very simple case but has great options to set your iPad in viewing mode, also to protect the screen the lid itself is very sturdy so any impact to the front should protect your screen. Also, the Speck Balance Folio Case is very lightweight at 12 oz so it won't add too much weight when traveling with your iPad and case. Also, the ability to be able to flip the opening for the camera is great, just flip the flap and you can have access to your camera instantly! The price and for the features it has, this is a case you might want to consider in getting for your iPad 7th or 8th generation.

Great Samsung Galaxy Active 2 Watch Band

If you are looking for a great watch band for your Samsung Galaxy Active 2, that will dress it up for those occasions that you want the Galaxy Active 2 to look a bit more classy. Then you might want to take a look at the Fullmosa quick release stainless steel watch band. I was very surprised that the Fullmosa watch band actually looks like it is made of good quality materials, feels very premium, and also seems to be very sturdy. The Fullmosa watch band comes complete with all the hardware to remove the links and adjust the band to your size, which is great because most watch bands don't come with this!

The only downside so far is that the quick release pin is not embedded into the band and when you want to switch out bands, you have to make sure that you don't lose these pens, or else you won't be able to use your band. Other than this, it's a great stainless steel watch band. Make sure if you are purchasing the Fullmosa stainless steel band for your Galaxy Active 2 44mm watch, get the 20mm watch band. Great Headphones - The Montblanc MB 01 Grey Color

                           

The Montblanc MB 01 wireless headphones are one of the best that I have tested. The APX over Bluetooth keeps the Hi-Res audio sounding excellent! The sound is amazing, has ANC so that you can tune out the noise around you and be able to listen to your favorite music and enjoy it in Hi-Res with a compatible Hi-Res music player. Even if you don't use Hi-Res music, the sound is still amazing over a Bluetooth connection. Battery life using the Montblanc MB 01 is also great, I get around 18 to 20 hours. I can use them over several days and then charge them up, the best thing is that you can charge them using any type C charger. So, charging on the go without the worries of carrying around a special charger is great! Just use your phone charger in the car while traveling, or a home phone charger as well. These are great headphones, especially for the first generation from Montblanc. They are very comfortable to wear and not heavy so you can listen to music for longer periods of time without worrying that they become uncomfortable. The easy access to the hardware buttons is great! I like that they are also very stylish and look good. Also in using them for phone calls, they are much better than the Bose 700, Sennheiser, and the Sony headphones. The Montblanc MB 01 cancels more of the background noise, yes, if you are in a very noisy environment, then the noise will be heard on the other side of your conversation. But overall they did a great job better than all I had used and tested. I also use the Montblanc MB 01 for editing my videos...

Surface Duo Otterbox Case Review

           

I picked up the Otterbox Theorem Series case for the Surface Duo to protect it while traveling. The Ottherbox Theorem case looks great but has some downfalls after using it... The case doesn't really work very well with a stylus, even though it has a stylus holder built right on the flap. It actually keeps the flap from closing if you put a stylus. The Otterbox Theorem looks very elegant and gives your Microsoft Surface Duo that extra high class look, but inside it is made of plastic that doesn't look or feel high quality. The Otterbox Theorem Series is on the expensive side, you might want to shop around if you pick up the case for your Microsoft Surface Duo. It does have a sticky surface inside that holds your Surface Duo which keeps it from sliding out. But if you happen to have a skin protector on the outside of the Surface Duo, it might peel it off with the adhesive of the case to keep the Surface Duo from sliding out of the case. Inside there are two slots for credit cards or you could put your driver's license in the slot as well. Overall the case looks great but it only holds from one side and the rest is loose so I will be passing on this case. If you picked up the Microsoft Surface Duo and want to protect your device? Why not wrap it in a custom skin that you can create on your own from Mightskins! Microsoft Surface Duo: Ember Color Bumper Great Protection!

             


Microsoft Surface Duo has released color bumpers to add different colors to the bumper line up, besides the Glacier White bumper that comes inside the box. I picked up the Ember color bumper which is a much nicer color than the picture from the online Microsoft website and at first didn't install the Glacier White bumper because it just seemed to plain of a color. Overall the bumper does give you a better grip to hold the Microsoft Surface Duo in your hand and also if it happens to slide from your hand it can give it some protection when dropping and hitting the floor, table, or any hard surface. Also, the Ember color bumper added a nice detail to the Surface Duo! It is a bit pricey, but I think it's worth the price of the bumper.
