Sony Vaio Duo 11 gets announced



Sony just pulled the curtain off the Sony Vaio Duo 11 at IFA which is going on now. This is going to be a slider PC Tablet, that will be running Windows 8. It has a lighted keyboard with optical track point in the keyboard. On the left side you will find 1-USB (2.0),full size VGA, SD card reader, headset port, front speakers,volume control and fron facing camera. On the right side you will find a a pair of 3.0 USB ports, full size HDMI and power button,



The Vaio Duo 11 will give you the option to use it as Ultrabook or as a tablet. With Windows 8, which happens to be heavly geared towards touch, will make the perfect Ultrabook / Tablet. The Vaio Duo 11 will have a i5 Ivy Bridge core to handy pretty much your higher end applications with no problem.

Going to have to get my hands on one of these Vaio Duo 11 to give a real world test, and find out how well it stands up.

Here is some of the specs that have been leaked out, these specs are in line with current Ultrabooks that are now on the shelves. No price has been set for the Vaio Duo 11, but we can be looking at around $1,199.
