Performance will be on par with other Windows 8.1 8-inch tablets running the latest Bay trail quad-core Intel Atom Z3740 processor. So lets take a look at what to expect…

The Lenovo Miix 2 makes a great Windows 8.1 8-inch tablet. It comes with 5-finger multi-touch technology to make swiping the screen and interacting with Windows 8.1 a breeze with the zippy Bay Trail processor. Like most tablets, having a great display is the key to a good device and Lenovo didn’t skimp on this. The Miix 2 comes with full HD 1280 x 800 display. The IPS display also provides great vivid colors at 180-degrees. Great for sharing movies or viewing documents on the Miix 2.

There is a optional detachable cover with stylus for the Miix 2. The cover protects your screen when not in use and also doubles as your stand, when folded back. With the included stylus, you can take notes and edit documents on the go.

The Miix 2 is great for video conferencing or for video chatting with friends and family. Lenovo has also included its Veriface, which you can use for face recognition to use instead of typing your password. It uses the integrated webcam to allow you to quickly login and support multiple users.

As with most other Atom processor tablets and Windows RT tablets. Lenovo is also including Office Home and Student 2013, Lenovo’s cloud storage, Lenovo Companion app, McAfee security 30 day free trial and Cyberlink YouCam.

If you are in the market for a Windows 8.1 8-inch tablet, you might want to check out the Lenovo Miix 2 8-inch tablet. If you hurry you can still get $25 Microsoft Gift Card.
