If you happen to acquire a Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7-inch or a 8-inch for Christmas, then you should take a look at the Amazon Origami case for it.

The Origami case is available in black, purple and pink with a price tag of $49.99. You can shop around and you should be able to find the case for around $39.99.

The Origami case allows you to set your Kindle Fire HDX in portrait or in landscape view. The cover has foldable flaps that allow you to quickly turn the case into a stand. The strong magnetic keeps the front cover intact, so when you fold the cover to create the stand, it will not come undone.

As you can see that the Origami case allows for the Kindle Fire HDX to sit perfectly in landscape view, works best when on a straight hard surface to view your favorites shows, browse the web or for those applications that work best in landscape mode.

As you know the Kindle Fire HDX has the speakers in the back, which most cases aren’t really designed to fire the sound towards the top giving you a louder and better sound experience. You can see that when the Kindle Fire HDX is in the Origami case, there is a gap between the rear speakers and the back cover. Great thought was taken into designing this, again, the sound doesn’t get blocked at all!

You can also flip the Origami case to have the top actually face down on the counter top, which if you have a hard surface, it will also make the sound bounce up and sound will be much louder as well. You can catch this in the video review to see for yourself.

If you are looking for a slim case, and something that keeps the bulk down. The Origami case makes that perfect case for your Kindle Fire HDX, but if you need something more rugged, then you will have to look for a different case as the Origami case doesn’t provide that.
